Race The Computer in Time Trials
- Select a 1 player time trial.
- At the character select screen, hit START on Controller 2.
- A flashing COM should appear above one of the drivers.
Switch Screens
- When you begin playing, press B on Controller 2.
- Select a 1-player game, hold the L and R buttons and press START.
- Select the class, driver, and track and begin.
Mini Character
- The same effect as when you go over one of the Princess's mushrooms.
- At the character select screen, press and hold Y and press A.
- Your character will shrink.
Secret Class
- After you get gold medals in all of the races for 100cc, you go to the special cup race.
- If you win this with the gold, after the credits, at the title screen will be a 150cc option...
Ghost Racer
- Save a sequence of your race in SRAM.
- Race a track in the "Time Trial," then at the retry screen hold L,R,Y, then press X.
- You should hear a ding.
- Note:This trick only works if you race well. Try to stay on the road!
- Play against your sequenced racer.
- Place the arrow in front of the YELLOW highlight track, hold L+R, then start.
- You should now see the "ghost racer"
