Hold SELECT when choosing your and opponent's teams in 1-player mode to pitch first in the game.
Sound Test
When the mode select screen appears, press SELECT until the EDIT II TEAM, SET UP, or WATCH MODES are selected.
Then press and hold L and R and press START.
SPEED MODE
Press and hold L and R while choosing your team.
Play.
